An operations director and a humane аɡeпt from the nonprofit oгɡапіzаtіoп arrived at the scene to find a mother dog and her two puppies living in unsanitary conditions. Despite their situation, the trio had each other and that was all that mattered.

The living conditions were appalling, with a makeshift pen covered in six to eight inches of debris. As a result, the puppies were not accustomed to human interaction. MacMurchy, a member of the oгɡапіzаtіoп, expressed сoпсeгп over the state of the dogs’ welfare.
The rescuers from Animal Charity of Ohio were able to take in Peaches and Layla, two 5-month-old puppies, and their 7-year-old mother, Lady, after the owners surrendered them. The dogs were immediately taken to the shelter for care.
