“The Fox Man” may be a fictional character, but Patsy Gibbons, who lives in Ireland, is a real man and her two sidekicks are named Grainne and Minnie. Gibbons fed and nursed the two foxes back to health after finding them abandoned when they were still puppies. Although the animals have fully recovered and could have returned to their natural environment, it appears that they have instead decided to adopt their savior. The three began to receive a lot of attention from the children of the area, so much so that the schools invited Grainne and Minnie to allow the students to observe them up close.

“Now I have people from all over Ireland and the UK asking me for advice on how to care for foxes,” said Gibbons. “I’m no expert and I’m still learning from them day by day, but I’m happy to share what I know.”
